Harrow Town Centre BID has fixed its Christmas Party for Saturday 28 November 2026, with stalls trading noon to 7pm. No start time or stage location yet.

Harrow’s Christmas Party, the town centre event built around the Christmas lights, has a date for 2026: Saturday 28 November. That is the whole of what Harrow Town Centre BID has published so far. Its own event page carries the date and the words “Save the date!” and nothing else (We Are Harrow).

One extra detail has slipped out through the back door. In a call for stallholders posted on 17 August 2026, the BID said the Christmas event will be “open and trading from 12pm to 7pm”, with pitches at £50 each (We Are Harrow). So the market side of the day runs midday to 7pm, even though the moment the lights actually go on has not been announced.

What is confirmed, and what is not

Confirmed by the organiser:

  • Saturday 28 November 2026.
  • Stalls open and trading 12pm to 7pm.
  • Traders pay £50 per pitch and must bring their own table, gazebo and chairs, plus food hygiene paperwork and public liability insurance if they are selling food. Registrations go to info@ha1bid.co.uk.

Not published as at 5 September:

  • The switch-on time itself.
  • The location of the stage or the tree.
  • Any line-up, performers or road closures.
  • Whether Harrow Council is involved at all. Its events calendar listed nothing for the day (Harrow Council events).

The BID has also built a “Christmas 2026” page into its site navigation, but the page was still empty when this one was written. That is usually the sign that a programme is coming rather than that there is nothing to announce.

The lights are not only in the town centre

Harrow Town Centre BID runs a Christmas trail across six shopping areas, and its entry form names them: Belmont Circle, Harrow town centre, North Harrow, Pinner, South Harrow and Stanmore (We Are Harrow Christmas trail). Visitors collect a Christmas word from each district centre they visit and submit the set.

That is worth knowing if you live at the Pinner or Stanmore end of the borough and assume the whole thing happens on Station Road.

Getting there and parking

Harrow on the Hill and Harrow and Wealdstone are both a short walk from Station Road, and the town centre buses run all afternoon. If you do drive, Harrow’s on-street tariffs changed on 1 July 2026 and the council’s own car parks page has not caught up with them, so read the current rates and the catch in the “free first hour” on our parking in Harrow page first.

Anything closed or dug up on the approach that week will show on Harrow roadworks and travel.

When to expect the rest

The BID was still recruiting stallholders in mid-August, which points to a programme landing in late October or early November. The council publishes nothing on this event, so the BID’s own site and its stallholder emails are the place the detail will appear first.

We will update this page as soon as a switch-on time is published.
